Hollywood Parade Ground has always been the duo of brothers Jean-Marc and Pierre Pauly from Brussels, Belgium formed in 1981. The Golden Years is an 11-song, career-spanning collection of Parade Ground’s long out-of-print 7 and 12 singles as well as rare compilation tracks from the pioneers of emotional body music created during 1982-1988.

Parade Ground are a Belgian band, created by two brothers, Jean-Marc Pauly and Pierre Pauly in 1981. They were pioneers of cold wave and EBM. Their first single 'Moan on the sly', was released in 1983 and they remained active until now (although they decided not to release anything between 1988 and 2007, being involved in other artistic projects such as writing and plastic art

BIO. Parade Ground has always been the duo of brothers Jean-Marc and Pierre Pauly from Brussels, Belgium formed in 1981. Parade Ground first appeared on the Nationale Rockmeeting LP in 1982, striking straight to the heart with the passionate plea I Shut My Eyes. Finally in 1988 their debut album Cut Up was released on Play It Again Sam Records and featured the singles Strange World and Hollywood. In 1993 the brothers wrote and composed the vocals on two Front 242 albums Up Evil and Off.

Parade Ground are a cold wave synth pop duo who formed in Brussels in 1981, and consist of brothers Jean-Marc Pauly and Pierre Pauly. Their generally uptempo tracks typically feature icy electronics, minimal post-punk guitars, and dramatic vocals by Jean-Marc. They have collaborated extensively wit. .Parade Ground began appearing on compilations shortly after forming, and debut single "Moan on the Sly" appeared in 1983. Additional singles and compilation tracks appeared, and the duo signed to Play It Again Sam in 1987. Wire's Colin Newman co-produced two songs on Parade Ground's Dual Perspective EP, and he sang and played guitar and keyboards on the song "Moans. He also produced a song on Strange World, the duo's second EP for PIAS.
