The Blues Brothers Band Live in Montreux is an album by The Blues Brothers band. It was released in 1990 on the heels of the band's reunion tour and it's the first album recorded by the band after the death of founding member John Belushi and the only one that doesn't feature Dan Aykroyd.
The Moody Blues were formed in Birmingham in the early sixties and were immediately successful, going to N. with their second single Go Now. As the sixties progressed, their music evolved into a more lush, psychedelic sound, and with the arrival of Justin Hayward and John Lodge, the classic line-up came together and produced the masterpiece Days Of Future Passed, which contained their classic hit singles Nights In White Satin and Tuesday Afternoon. The resulting level of success propelled the band forward. This film contains the complete Odessey & Oracle album, with all 12 tracks lovingly re-created by the original four members of The Zombies: Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone, Chris White and Hugh Grundy, during an historic 40th Anniversary reunion concert at the Shepherds Bush Empire, London, in March 2008.
The Powder Blues Band is a Canadian blues/pop/jazz band formed in 1978 in Vancouver. Its first album Uncut went double platinum in Canada. The second album Thirsty Ears was similarly popular. Their best known songs include: "Boppin' with the Blues", "Doin' It Right", "Thirsty Ears", "Hear That Guitar Ring", and "What've I Been Drinkin". The Powder Blues Band was founded in 1978 as a house band in Vancouver, British Columbia. 1997 Live At Montreux (Peerless). 1997 Lowell Fulson with the Powder Blues Band (Stony Plain). 2002 Swingin' the Blues (Blue Wave).
