Déjà Vu is the second album by trio Crosby, Stills & Nash, and their first as a quartet with Neil Young. It was released in March 1970 by Atlantic Records, catalogue SD 7200. It topped the pop album chart for one week and generated three Top 40 singles: "Woodstock", "Teach Your Children", and "Our House". It was re-released in 1977 as SD-19188 and the cover was changed from black to brown.

There were also some obvious virtues in evidence - the addition of Neil Young to the Crosby, Stills & Nash lineup added to the level of virtuosity, with Young and Stephen Stills rising to new levels of complexity and volume on their guitars.

The addition of Neil Young to the Crosby, Stills & Nash supergroup in 1969 created great expectations for the band’s second album, Déjà Vu. The follow-up didn't disappoint fans, who took the record to No. 1 album after its release on March 11, 1970. David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash set the bar high with their 1969 debut, Crosby, Stills & Nash, a deft mix of folk and rock that featured intricate three-part harmonies. Nash said the first album's success made the addition of a fourth member a necessary evil

Album Déjà Vu. Déjà Vu Lyrics. If I had ever been here before I would probably know just what to do Don't you? If I had ever been here before on another time around the wheel I would probably know just how to deal With all of you And I feel Like I've been here before Feel Like I've been here before And you know It makes me wonder What's going on under the ground Do you know?

But Déjà Vu’s great power is its enigmatic familiarity, which carries Aquarian Age ideals into a new era ( Woodstock, Carry On ). Déjà Vu Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. A milestone record of the folk-rock movement, CSN’s second album together (and their first with Y) was a virtual how-to for flower children entering adulthood in the ‘70s. It offers sweetly harmonised instruction on how to embrace domesticity ( Our House ), raise kids ( Teach Your Children ) and steer clear of trouble without selling out ( Almost Cut My Hair ). But Déjà Vu’s great power is its enigmatic familiarity, which carries Aquarian Age ideals into a new era ( Woodstock, Carry On ).
