Fear is the path to the dark side. Hate leads to suffering.
Yoda" is a song by "Weird Al" Yankovic from his third album, Dare to Be Stupid (1985). It is a parody of the song "Lola" by the Kinks. Inspired by the events of the movie The Empire Strikes Back, the song is told from the point of view of Jedi-in-training Luke Skywalker, and concerns his dealings with Master Yoda on the planet Dagobah.
Third Eye Blind is the debut studio album by American rock band Third Eye Blind, released on April 8, 1997. The album spawned five singles, including the top ten chart hits "Semi-Charmed Life", "Jumper", and "How's It Going to Be". While Third Eye Blind only peaked at on the Billboard 200, it spent 106 weeks on the chart.
Yoda makes his first film appearance in The Empire Strikes Back. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) arrives on Dagobah to seek his guidance, having been instructed to do so by the Force ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness). Yoda does not initially identify himself to Luke and instead tests his patience by presenting himself as a comical and senile backwater individual, deliberately provoking both Luke and R2-D2 (Kenny Baker). At this time, Yoda is on Kashyyyk, overseeing the battle between the Separatist forces and a combined command of clone troopers and Wookiees. Through the Force, Yoda feels the deaths of each of the Jedi as they are assassinated by their own troops. Subsequently, Yoda battles Palpatine in a lightsaber duel that wrecks the Senate Rotunda. In the end, neither is able to overcome the other and Yoda is forced to retreat.

The species to which the legendary Jedi Master Yoda belonged was ancient and shrouded in mystery. The species had two sexes: male and female. Their three-fingered hands ended in claws. Their ears were expressive, curling and unfurling in accordance with their emotions. The species' life expectancy spanned several centuries. Members of this species were rarely seen anywhere in the galaxy.
Rumor has it that the tarsier was the inspiration for Yoda, and I'm nothing if not a strong believer in rumors. Unfortunately, any number of humanity's ills have put the tarsier in serious danger: deforestation, hunting, etc. Rising awareness of the creature, though, may help keep it from doom. This is just kinda how they look. I’m aware that what I’m about to say may well ignite sectarian conflict within the Star Wars fan community, but I’m pretty sure I know what the inspiration for Yoda was. It wasn’t Albert Einstein, as some heretics have claimed. And the inspiration wasn’t the creator of Yoda himself, as the man who created Yoda has claimed. It was a tiny, wide-eyed, positively adorable primate that bounds around the forests of Indonesia and the Philippines and Borneo: the tarsier. More absurd creatures
