Voodoo Lounge is the 20th British and 22nd American studio album by British rock band The Rolling Stones, released in July 1994. As their first new release under their new alliance with Virgin Records, it ended a five-year gap since their last studio album, Steel Wheels in 1989. Voodoo Lounge is also the band's first album without long-time bassist Bill Wyman. He left the band in early 1991, though the Stones did not formally announce the departure until 1993

I'm Free" is a song by the Rolling Stones written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, first released as the final track on the UK Out of Our Heads album on 24 September 1965. It was also released at the same time as a single in the US and later included on the American December's Children (And Everybody's) album.
Released July 11, 1994. Voodoo Lounge Tracklist. 1. Love Is Strong Lyrics. Voodoo Lounge is the first Stones' album without original member and bass guitarist, Bill Wyman, who was replaced by Daryl Jones. It is also the first album produced by Don Was, winner of the Grammy award for producer of the year. Mick expressed his opinion of the album in a 1995 Rolling Stone interview: I think there is a really good feeling of the band on it – that the band is playing very much as a band, even though it’s got one new member The ballads are rather nice, and then the rock & roll numbers kick quite well and sound enthusiastic – like we’re into it. I think it’s a good frame of reference of what the Rolling Stones were about during that quite limited time in Ireland in that year. It’s very much a kind of time-and-place album.

Rolling Stones Detail ‘Voodoo Lounge Uncut’ With Unreleased Live Footage. Project centers around reissue of band’s 1995 concert special filmed in Miami. The Rolling Stones unearthed several live performances for their upcoming release, Voodoo Lounge Uncut, which arrives November 16th via Eagle Vision. The new project comprises a concert film and live album, and is centered around a reissue of a 1995 TV special that captured the Stones’ November 25th, 1994 gig at the Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami, Florida. On tour in support of their 1994 LP Voodoo Lounge, the concert famously featured cameos from Sheryl Crowe, Bo Diddley and Robert Cray. Street Fighting Man 25. Start Me Up 26. It’s Only Rock’n’Roll (But I Like It) 27. Brown Sugar 28. Jumpin’ Jack Flash.
To pile on the irony, Voodoo Lounge feels more like a return to form than its predecessor, even if it's every bit as calculated and Bill Wyman has flown the coup. With Don Was, a neo-classic rock producer who always attempts to reclaim his artist's original claim to greatness, helming the boards with the Glimmer Twins, the Stones strip their sound back to its spare, hard-rocking basics.
