It was released on 26 October 2018 through BMG. It is Culture Club's first studio album since 1999's Don't Mind If I Do. After the band reformed in 2014, the album originally began as Tribes, a project that the band offered through PledgeMusic that was initially set to be released in 2015, then early 2016 through the band's own label, Different Man Music
Boy George and Culture Club have released their first new material in twenty years today (July 31) in the form of a song titled Let Somebody Love Yo. The reggae-infused track, produced by Future Cut, features an upbeat sound and lyrics that express the idea of letting the revolution of love feed the hunger in your heart. Featuring horns and soulful background vocals, Let Somebody Love You delivers the perfect summer hangout sound. The track precedes news that the group will be releasing a new album, LIFE, on Oct. 26, as well as a worldwide tour in support of their new music

Let Somebody Love You marks Culture Club’s first new song since 2014’s More Than Silence. That track arrived not long after Culture Club announced a reunion tour and album, though the trek was ultimately scrapped after a polyp was discovered in Boy George’s throat. At the end of June, Culture Club kicked off the first leg of an expansive North American tour, which is set to wrap August 3rd in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The band will launch a second run August 28th at Artpark in Lewiston, New York. 1. God & Love 2. Bad Blood 3. Human Zoo 4. Let Somebody Love You 5. What Does Sorry Mean 6. Runaway Train 7. The iconic group have unveiled their inspiring clip for comeback single Let Somebody Love You, and it sees them turn protesting upside down by encouraging people to talk about the things that you love rather than the things that you hate. Produced by Future Cut and written by band members George, Roy Hay, Mikey Craig and Jon Moss alongside Ritchie Stevens, the track stays true to the sound that made Culture Club a worldwide phenomenon, and is perfect for those hot summer days. NotesThis is the version available from iTunes, which is a different vocal recording from the version available from Amazon.com. Here is the comparisons of both versions:
iTunes version says "yeah" after each time he sings "light your fuse" (0:42; 1:40).
The vocal on "a dream, a book, a lie, a kiss" at 1:20 is just his harmony vocal on iTunes, the Amazon version is just the pure lead vocal.
The rap at 2:11 is more forward in the mix on the Amazon version, and the lyric changes: iTunes says "something I said", Amazon says "something YOU said".
At 3:02, iTunes starts the chorus with "gotta let somebody love you", Amazon is just "let somebody love you".
