New Order - Technique mp3 flac
Partly recorded on the island of Ibiza, it incorporates Balearic beat and acid house influences into the group's dance-rock sound. The album was influenced by the then growing acid scene, and Sumner's experiences in the 500 Club in New York and Shroom in London.
Label: Rhino Records (2) – R2 516187, London Records – R2 516187, Warner Bros. We are now in the process of correcting the problems, but it should be noted that due to the age and condition of some of the original source tapes, the sound quality may vary.
Label: Rhino Records (2) – 2564693697. Both CDs are housed in a fold out digipak. A booklet held inside the left part digipak features liner notes. Some tracks on the second disc sound as if they have been transferred from cleaned up vinyl sources. In addition, this version of the release is corrected from the original reissue which featured a number of mastering errors on the second disc. This release is a repress and can be identified by different matrix numbers.
Fine Time, the opener, helps sum up the power of Technique, while Run, Vanishing Point, and Love Less bring disco to the table. Dream Attack, however", leaves an acoustic feel throughout its 39-40 minute run. All in all, it’s another fine time.
About Technique album. Album Technique (1988).
Album · 1989 · 9 Songs. At the decade's beginning, they were still dour post-punks, but by 1989 they were sunbathing in Ibiza and turning out ecstatic rave-ups influenced by the island's long nights. The guitar-led "All the Way", "Love Less" and "Dream Attack" are extensions of Brotherhood's lush rock sound, but "Fine Time", "Vanishing Point", "Mr Disco" and the Latin-tinged "Round & Round" plunge giddily into acid house.
The band formed after the demise of Joy Division, following the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis; they were joined by Gillian Gilbert on keyboards later that year.
