Paul Howard Douglas (March 26, 1892 – September 24, 1976) was an American politician and Georgist economist. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a . Senator from Illinois for eighteen years, from 1949 to 1967. During his Senate career, he was a prominent member of the liberal coalition. Born in Massachusetts and raised in Maine, Douglas graduated from Bowdoin College and Columbia University.

Earl Paul Douglas (born c. 1950) is a Jamaician Grammy Award-winning drummer and percussionist, best known for his work as the drummer, percussionist and bandleader of Toots and the Maytals. His career spans more than five decades as one of reggae's most recorded drummers. Music journalist and reggae historian David Katz wrote, dependable drummer Paul Douglas played on countless reggae hits.

Tinga Stewart is a reggae singer. Stewart took part in the Reggae Sunsplash world tour in 1989, touring Japan. He continued to record in the 1990s and 2000s, having now released over 200 singles, and has toured the United States, Canada, Japan, England, and Africa, as well as working as a producer. Tinga Stewart has remained relatively obscure despite his obvious skills as a singer of the crooning dancehall school and his various fine recordings made with the help of King Jammy, Bobby Digital, and the Fire House Crew in the early '90s. On this album, he is also helped out by some of the top DJs of the period, including Ninjaman, Tony Rebel, and the young Capleton (who, unfortunately, chats along in an unrelated key on the otherwise fine "Girl When").

Tinga Stewart has been played on NTS in shows including The Do!! You!!! Breakfast Show w/ Charlie Bones, featured first on 5 July 2014. Songs played include The Message, Funny Feeling and Got To Be In Love. ARTIST BIO In 1971, Tinga joined the Boris Gardner Happening Band as the lead vocalist.
