On my copy LP1 is missing label b, it never got pressed on to the vinyl. Sides a, c, and d have labels. Did anyone else get a copy like this?
Blackstalker
My only complaints with this release is that the spine text is so small you can't read it unless you read it up close and that it's not a gate fold, but the 2LPs do fit in the sleeve, other than those 2 thing this release is outstanding.
Wrathmaster
Any comment about the quality? Better/worse/same as the original? I don't have either so it'd be nice to know if it's worth to get an original or this reissue.
Risky Strong Dromedary
Hmm. Mine has a space for a number but it's not numbered. Oh well!
GWEZJ
I received mine without numbering as well. You're not alone. Still a great pressing.
Ferne
Perhaps some unfortuantely received a poor pressing, but I own both a black copy and a yellow club edition, and they both sound absolutely outstanding. I've been able to audition both of them on two different and nice systems and they are indistiguishable - the same lacquers where used for both colors. And yes, black is an added color, just like any other.
Brariel
Doesn't matter because the black vinyl version sounds WAY better anyway. Fuller overall soundstage and richer bass definition. The yellow wax version sounds muddy in comparison, but will still likely fetch 2 to 3 times as much on the collectors market..
Uscavel
A long awaited and excellent quality reissue. Both records are clean and quiet and came packaged in poly lined inner sleeves. I doubt the original pressing could sound any better.
Zulkigis
Buyer beware: if the seller says that they're not sure about the color, then it is definitely the standard black vinyl and not this release. The yellow version of the record can only be obtained by club members of Vinyl Me, Please. Therefore, if the seller is unsure of the color, then it wasn't purchased from VMP - otherwise they would be sure that the color was yellow. Just a heads up!
Marelyne
Also it's not a member exclusive on VMP so anyone can order it! Mine's on it's way =]
EROROHALO
There Is also a "Vinyl Me, Please Exclusive Pressing" foil stamp on the back cover. If it's missing you got your answer.

Edited version is pretty decent for the most part. "Hit em with da Hee" has different lyrics for Missy's verse. There are a few disappointments, however, like "Sock It 2 Me" which is not the radio version with the chorus at the ens different lyrics for Da Brat's verse; instead, her verse has been edited rather poorly at that and her ending ad-libs have been muted. Not to mention "Beep Me 911" which mutes 702 and Magoo's verses instead of taking them out entirely, or using the official radio edit that censors the few profanities on the song and is trimmed down a bit with an earlier fade out. However, the songs that did surprise me with the censorship are the rerecorded clean versions of the aforementioned "Hit em with da Hee" (except for Lil Kim's verse which surprisingly wasn't really explicit), Pass da Blunt, and my favorite "Izzy Izzy Aah". I believe "Gettaway" has some rerecorded verse too but I can't remember at the moment. "Supa Dupa Fly" is the official full-length clean edit. The album musically is great, Timbaland was at his peak with his spaced out, stripped down, drum-n-bass inspired production and Missy had a fun, bouncy flow as well as a marvelous singing voice. The major drawback was with her lyrics and delivery which were clearly still in development. She did step up her game in those categories in her next album, "Da Real World", which was one of her most critically acclaimed albums for a good reason. Great album, mixed feelings on editing, 7/10.

She appeared fresh on the scene end of 97 with that crazy dope azz video by Hype Willimas where she and Da Brat were hopping and hoovering over some outer-space planet , wearing these yellow-black dresses , that made them look like wasps . One of Hype Willimas most recognizable videos (next to his one for Busta's "Put Your Hands , Where My Eyes Could See"). After that the Hits kept coming 'Hit Hem Wit da He' and 'Rain' (Just Can't stand the ..) . You couldn't escape it neither ignore her . Slowly the press created a buzz about Missy and Timbaland's Drum 'n Bass - influenced beats . So i got me that CD . Liked it immediately and listened to it quite often for a good while . Then i noticed that i was still bumping Supadupafly , when all other CD's bought at the same time were long out of rotation and covered dust . Don't know what is the mistery or the magic that's hidden there . I listened to it the whole winter , every day till may ..never ever really got tired of it .None of Missy's albums to follow had that spell on me. Some fly songs on most of them (except from "Missy's World" , which is absolutely whack) , but as a whole not really convincing nor 'banging' . Her newest strike 'This Is Not a Test' is her best since her debut , but after listening to it 4 or 5 times i had enough from it as an album . She Just ain't Supa Dupa Fly anymore ... Timbaland is a mighty fine producer and together with Missy he struck a Goldmine . They will be digging there for another decade or so fo sure! Props to both of them regardless my criticism...
